The P25 Trunking mode allows the transceiver to automati-
cally search for a control channel in a repeater system, ac-
cording to the up to 10 preset band frequencies when;
• Turning the power ON.
• The P25 Trunking mode is selected.
• The transceiver goes out of the range and does not re-
ceive the downlink signal from the current registered con-
trol channel.

Searching” is displayed. (Simple and 10-key types only)
- S-meter icon is displayed according to the received signal
strength level. (Simple and 10-key types only)
- The LED indicator slowly blinks green. (Non-display type only)

The Control Channel Band Scan function takes lots of time to
find a control channel, because it scans wide scan ranges.
• This function is usable with transceivers whose revision number is
3.0.0 or later.
The user can use the Control Channel Band Scan function
with the Channel Hunt function as listed below.

When turning ON the power, the transceiver starts
searching for a control channel according to the
Hunt List. If a control channel is not found, the
transceiver starts Control Channel Band Scan.
When the transceiver changes trunking system, or
goes out of range, it roams according to the Hunt
List or a neighbor site's frequency information.

When turning ON the power, the transceiver
starts Control Channel Band Scan to search for
a control channel.
When the transceiver changes trunking systems,
or goes out of range, it roams according to a
neighbor site’s frequency information. If a control
channel is not found, the transceiver starts Control
Channel Band Scan.

When turning ON the power, the transceiver starts
searching for a control channel according to the Hunt
List. If a control channel is not found, the transceiver
continues to search with the Hunt List again.
When the radio changes trunking systems, or
goes out of range, it roams according to the Hunt
List or neighbor site’s frequency information.
