DR (Dynamic Regrouping)
function
The Dynamic Regrouping function enables a dispatcher to
make a temporary group (Super group) with the specified
Talkgroups.
When receiving a regroup command from a dispatcher, the
transceiver automatically moves to the Super group.
• “DR” appears. (Simple and 10-key types only)
• This function is usable with transceivers whose revision number is
3.0.0 or later.
In the Super group:
• When receiving a signal in the Super group, the transceiv-
er opens the squelch, and the user can hear the received
audio.
• When the user push [PTT] in the Super group, the transceiv-
er transmits in the Super group.
• When receiving a cancel command, the transceiver returns
to the original Talkgroup.

The Talkgroup Scan scans the control channels or the
conventional channels.
When a signal is received, the scan pauses on the channel,
and the squelch opens to monitor up to 8 trunking group

When a signal disappears, the scan resumes.
If no signal is received, the transceiver returns to the original
control channel.
