HOW TO OPERATE THE PERSONAL TELEVISION
IMPORTANT: Before operating the television, you

Note: Complete this step only if you are using ana-

external source such as your cable box or your
VCR.
When the television is turned on, the screen will
show the last cable channel that was selected. To
select a different channel, press the Channel (CH.)
buttons. The selected cable channel number will
appear on the screen for a few seconds. Note: The
television is equipped with a channel memorizing
function that allows you to go directly from the cur-
rent channel to the next channel saved in memory.
Before channels can be selected in this way, they
must be saved in the televisionʼs memory. See
step 5 on page 26.
4. Adjust the volume.
When either Volume (VOL.) button is pressed, the
volume level indicator will appear on the screen for
a few seconds.
To use earphones or headphones (not included),
plug them into the headphone jack below the key.
5. Turn off the television.
When you are finished using the television, press
the Power button to turn off the television.
HOW TO USE THE STEREO SOUND SYSTEM
To play music or audio books through the consoleʼs
stereo speakers, you must connect your MP3 player,
CD player, or personal audio player to the console.
Locate the audio wire below the television on the con-
sole, and plug it into a jack on your MP3 player, CD
player, or other personal audio player.
Make sure that
the audio wire is fully plugged in.
Next, press the Play button on your MP3 player, CD
player, or other personal audio player. Then, adjust the
volume on your personal audio player or by pressing
the Volume (VOL.) increase and decrease buttons on
the console. To use earphones or headphones, plug
them into the headphone jack below the key.
If you are using a personal CD player and the CD
skips, set the CD player on the floor or another flat sur-
face and not on the console.
When you are finished using the stereo sound system,
unplug the audio wire. Note: The television audio will
not function while the audio wire is plugged in.
