Installation
Follow the steps to set up the Thunderbolt
™
3 Type-C
™
PCIe expansion enclosure.
1. Loosen the marked thumbscrews until they pop out.
They remain on the housing independently.
2. Remove the housing from the chassis by gently pulling and
sliding. There are no connected cable between the chassis
and the housing, you can pull the chassis out completely.
Important note (!):
Do not remove the plastic layer from the
internal board. This prevents damage to the PCB and has no
negative effect to the function.
3. Bring the chassis in an upright position
as seen on the picture. Remove at least
one PCIe slot cover through removing
the respective securing screw. If you
want to use double-width cards,
remove the second slot cover as well.
