1.8 Voltage Management
If the car battery is powered between 11.0 volts and 14.5 volts, the DVR will run
smoothly. If the power is between 10.5 volts and 11.0 volts, the DVR will beep twice in 60
seconds and then operate. If the power is between 10.0 volts and 10.5 volts, the device
will beep 4 times in 60 seconds before powering off. If the power is less than 10.0 volts,
the DVR will power off at once without beeping.
If the car battery is powered between 14.5 and 15.0 volts, the DVR will beep twice in 60
seconds and then run smoothly. If the power is between 15.0 volts and 15.5 volts, the DVR
will beep 4 times in 60 seconds before powering off. If the power is more than 15.5 volts,
the DVR will power off at once without beeping.
If the car battery is powered between 10.5 volts and 15.0 volts, the DVR will operate
without any problem. However, if the power is kept between 11.0 volts and 14.5 volts, that
is ideal for the DVR.
