IMPORTANT NOTICE
Chrysler’s Immobilizer modules will accept a maximum of 4 programmed
keys. If the vehicle already has 4 keys programmed, it will be impossible
to learn the transponder unless a new Immobilizer module is installed in
the vehicle and programmed to recognize the vehicle ID by the new car
dealer.
Programming will require access to TWO valid vehicle keys. These keys will
be returned to the vehicle owner once the installation has been completed.
note:
The transponder is compatible with the Chrysler Durango 2004
vehicle. However, all Durango’s built prior to 5/17/04 must get a WCM
module upgrade which will correct a problem preventing the vehicle from
learning additional keys. Chrysler is correcting this issue only when a
Durango owner requests a new transponder key.
The transponder must be programmed as would an additional key.
The WCM replacement part number is 56038675AS.
