About the activated carbon filter
The activated carbon filter removes
unwanted odors such as smoke and
kitchen odors. In order to provide hygienic
operation and to achieve sufficient cleaning
to the air, this filter must be changed
regularly.
As a general guideline, the activated carbon
filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months.
If the air is highly contaminated, such as in a
kitchen, then it may be necessary to change
the activated carbon filter earlier. Therefore,
you should regularly check the activated
carbon filter. When in doubt, trust your nose:
A saturated activated carbon filter has an
unpleasant odor.

About the evaporator cartridge
The evaporator cartridge absorbs the water
from the water tray so it can pass through the
air flow and be released to the surroundings.
Residue from the water contaminates the
evaporator cartridge. In order to provide clean
operation and achieve sufficient evaporation
output, the evaporator cartridge must be
changed regularly.
As a general guideline, the evaporator
cartridge should be replaced every 2 to 3
months. Replace the cartridge earlier if there is
excessive contamination, calcification or
greatly reduced evaporation output due to hard
water or other causes. Therefore, you should
regularly check the evaporator cartridge.
