3. Installation Instructions
WARNING!!
Improper installation can cause accelerated wear, resulting in catastrophic failure
which may cause property damage and / or bodily injury. Manufacturer will assume no liability
for loss or damage of any kind, expressed or implied, resulting from improper installation or
use of this product. Read this installation manual in its entirety before attempting to install or
operate the lift.
Step 1: Lift Location
1)
If available, use architect plan to locate lift in service area or bay.
2)
Determine which end of the lift will be approach end, along with ensuring to leave adequate clearance
around the lift
’s outer perimeter for safety clearance, as shown in
Fig. 3
. Ensure concrete floor is level
& meets
‘Foundation & Anchoring Requirements’ on Page 8 .
NOTE:
The Main Side ‘Power’ Runway & Main Side Post must be installed on the same Side &
End, shown in Fig 2.)

NOTE:
For Power Unit placement at the Passenger Side Rear Post, rotate lift 180 degrees, but
leaving the Ramps, Chocks and Wheel Stops in their original positions.
3)
Once a location is determined, mark locations with chalk line where lift posts will be positioned in
bay.

. Ensure to determine drive-on approach direction, along with centering lift to bay door.
4)
Double check all dimensions and make sure that the lift layout is perfectly square. Ensure diagonal
measurements are within 1/4
” to the inside of each post base plates.
