Unscrew the screws from the back of the remote control

and open the casing.
2.
Remove the dead batteries and insert three LR44 batteries ensuring that the +/- terminals are
correctly positioned.
3.
Close the casing again and screw back together.

Every time you press the on/off button

the LED indicator lamp on the remote control

Setting up / using for the first time
RISK OF INJURY! This device emits a loud alarm
signal (approx. 105 dB(A) at 10 cm). Do not expose
yourself to this noise for a prolonged period of time
because it could result in serious hearing damage.

The device can be positioned on a level, stable surface or fixed to the wall using the wall
mount

2.
Fix the wall mount

at a maximum of 2 metres above the ground, with an inclination of 15°.
Position the device far enough away from sources of heat, e.g. radiators and fireplaces/stoves.
3.
We recommend positioning the device so that the objects it is intended to detect move from
left to right (or vice versa) in front of the device.

The wall mount

can be used as a template to mark the position of the screw holes on the wall.

RISK OF DEATH DUE TO ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Drill two holes in the wall to take the
rawlplugs and insert the standard rawlplugs supplied or special rawlplugs as dictated by the
type of wall. Please take care to ensure that no cables or pipes are concealed in the wall when
drilling. Detectors should be used to check the presence of supply pipes.

Screw the wall mount

onto the wall using the standard rawlplugs supplied or special
rawlplugs as dictated by the type of wall.

Fix the device to the wall mount

by sliding the socket on the motion sensor

onto the spherical joint on the wall mount

Adjust the device to the desired position, (a 15° inclination is recommended).

To switch the device on, point the remote control

towards the red window panel

press the on/off button

. The green LED indicator lamp

on the device switches on for
approx. 15 seconds and then switches off again. The alarm is now switched on. (The remote
control has a maximum reach of 6m).

When the device senses movement within the sensor’s detection range, the red LED indicator
lamp

flashes for approx. 5 seconds, before the alarm sounds. The sensor covers an angle
of up to 90° and has a reach of up to 6 metres (at 20°C):

Press the on/off button

to switch the alarm off. This switches off both the green and red LED
indicator lamps

on the device.
Note:

The alarm signal stops sounding automatically after approx. 45 seconds.
▪
Check the device regularly to ensure that it is in full working order. Please change the batteries
when the alarm signal no longer sounds, or when the signal is not loud enough.
