CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention!
Prior to each cleaning, switch the device off and disconnect the power plug from the power
socket.
Attention!
Do not under any circumstance use alcohol, acetone, petrol, aggressive cleansers, etc. to clean
the plastic parts. Do not use hard brushes or metal objects for cleaning purposes.

Do not attempt to clean the device while it is still hot.

carefully during cleaning.

Wipe the device off with a dry towel.
•
The heating elements
can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and possibly a little dish soap. After cleaning, dry
thoroughly.

Never submerge the device in water or let water run over the heating elements or the device itself.
•
Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleansers.
•
Do not under any circumstance use petrol, solvents, abrasive cleaners, metal objects or metal polish to clean this
device.
•
When not using this device for a longer period of time, store it preferably in the original packaging and in a location
protected from moisture.

Disposal of old electric devices.
The European directive 2002/96/EC for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) states that
used household devices should not be disposed of with unsorted community waste. These used
devices must be collected separately from household waste in order to increase the percentage of
recovered devices and to recycle their parts, with the goal of reducing the negative effects on human
health and on the environment.
The symbol of the crossed out garbage can will be stamped onto all devices as a reminder of the
obligation to put them in a separate garbage collection. The consumer must consult local authorities or
the vendor to inform themselves about the manner in which their device should be disposed of.
When the device has reached the end of its service life, make it defective by disconnecting the power plug from
the socket and cutting the cord in two.
