Data Tags
5.3.1
i-B2L Tag
This active tag is particularly suited for:
Identification
Tracking and Tracing
Using ILR technology, distances of up to 100 meters (300 feet) can be
achieved with this tag. An operation lifetime of up to 6 years (depending
on ping rate) can be expected due to the tag’s minimal energy
requirement.
Used in combination with the i-PORT MB or i-CARD CFB, several hundred
tags can be detected nearly simultaneously, thanks to an anti-collision
algorithm.
i-B2L tags are available in a variety of configurations and form factors.
Memory capacity is 13 Byte (17 characters packed). Furthermore, they are
available at 868 MHz for use in Europe and at 915 MHz for use in America.
5.3.2
i-Q8L Tag
This active tag is particularly suited for:
Identification
Tracking and Tracing
Localization
Temperature Monitoring
Using ILR technology, distances of up to 100 meters can be achieved with
this tag. An operation lifetime of up to 6 years (at 600 128-bit readings
per day) can be expected due to the tag’s minimal energy requirement.
Used in combination with the i-PORT, several hundred tags can be
interrogated nearly simultaneously, thanks to a sophisticated anti-collision
algorithm.
i-Q tags are available in a variety of configurations, i.e. with 8 kBytes or
32 kBytes of memory, an optional LED for visual recognition, and optional
temperature logging function. Furthermore, they are available at 868 MHz
for use in Europe, at 915 MHz for use in America and at both frequencies
for transcontinental applications (dual frequency).
