assistive device. He/she will advise and inform you on the most 

appropriate use in your case.

Distributor: this instruction manual must be given to the users of 

this product.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

The Toilet Wheelchair with grey wheels is a medical device. It is a technical 

toilet aid for the elderly, people with reduced mobility, disabled, injured or 

who can easily lose their balance.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 

Failure to follow the safety precautions may result in the risk of 

serious injury.

• Don’t exceed the maximum supported weight of 165 kg.

• Check all components are secured before use.

• Make sure that the product is in good working order.

• Visually check the product.

• Before each use of the product, the brakes and tyres should

 

be checked.

• Check the stability of the chair before use.

• Only use on a level ground.

• When stationary, apply the brakes on the castors.

• Ensure the brakes are released before the chair is moved again.

• Always ensure that the device is stationary and braked applied when 

transferring to and from the device. Swing away the legrests before

 

getting in or out of the device. The user should always remove their

 

feet from the leg rests before swinging the

 

leg rests away.

• Do not lean out of the device.

• Be careful of pinch points when rising from or lowering on to the

 

seat, or when you are removing the potty.

• Make sure the potty rests securely on the two rails under the seat.

• Check, the castors wear, the castors bearings, the brakes, the leg rest 

locking mechanism, the seat and backrest, the arm Pads, the potty

 

and the lid.

• In case of damaged, broken, worn or missing parts, contact the dealer.

MOUNTING & USE

ASSEMBLING THE CHAIR FRAME

•  Loosen the two knobs (1) on each side

from the toilet chair while turning them

counterclockwise.

•  Insert the backrest sections (2) in both

frame receivers.

•  Attach the backrest by tightening the

two knurls (1) by turning clockwise.

ARMRESTS OPERATION

FOOTRESTS INSTALLATION

•  To put the footrests in place,

insert the 2 tubing holes in the

lugs when the footrest is rotated

outwards. Then rotate the

footrest as shown in the diagram

to lock it in the use position at the 

front of the chair.

•  To rotate the footrest and retract

it, press the chrome lever while

pushing back the legrest. The

legrest can then be lifted to

be removed.

USE OF BRAKES ON WHEELS

Press the lever located above the wheel 

to apply the parking brake (as indicated on 

the diagram). To release the lock, press the 

protruding tab above the wheel.

USE OF POTTY AND LID

•  The potty and lid are housed under the plastic seat. To add the potty,

slide under the seat from the back of the chair. Make sure the potty is 

well fixed on the two rails fixed below from the seat.

•  To remove the potty, slide the potty under the seat. Add the lid and

carry the potty safely using the chrome handle.

•  The armrests can be removed for

a lateral transfer and replaced if

necessary by the user.

•  To replace the armrests, place the

two ends of the armrest tubing in the

receivers located on the frame.

•  To remove the armrests, simply lift

the armrests.
