Use of the seat
The seat consists of 2 parts with a removable part for personal hygiene.
It is strongly recommended to remove the removable 'fish-shaped' part
when showering. This part is not suitable to support the entire weight
of the person.
The seat can be unclipped to facilitate cleaning.
Flip-up armrests
The armrests can be lifted to
facilitate transfer. Note: The wheel
brakes must be applied during
transfer.
Installation of the large rear wheels (option)
Large rear wheels (optional) can be ordered to facilitate the
movement of people.
1. Before installing these large wheels, adjust the height of the 4
wheels to your liking.
2. Position the rear wheels so that the brakes on the wheels are at the
front of the chair and apply the brake. This position is important for
the installation of large wheels.
3. Install the 2 supports which will receive the axles of the large wheels. The
small rear wheels will be approximately 3mm from the ground when the
large wheels are installed. (Figure B)
4. The wheels have an axle with quick release pins. Press the pressure
button located at the end of the wheel axle (outer side) and insert
the wheel axle into the brackets attached to the frames until it
clicks. (Figure B) Make sure the wheels are properly seated on the
frame. Repeat with the other wheel.
5. Install the brakes as shown in Figure C. Make sure the brakes are
functioning properly before use.
