Q1: the unit gets hot when it works. Is it abnormal?
A: It consumes power while playing. So it is a normal phenomenon for the unit to release
heat. According to the unit structure, the hard disk is islolated from the main chipset. So
don’t worry. About the heating.
Q2: After connected to power, the indicator light is off and unit doesn’t work either, why?
A: Check the power cable to see if it is destroyed. Also check whether you have properly
connected to power supply. Or it might be no power supply at all.
Q3: When the unit is turned on, no image display or color band appears or out of range.
A: 1. Please check whether the AV cable is properly connected. 2. The unit’s video output
mode doesn’t match the display. Please press “AV/VGA”key to switch on right mode. 3.
the display’s video input is not in correct mode. Please switch on right mode(Video or
AV).4.The AV cable is not well connected. Please reconnect.
Q4: no volume, why?
A: Audio cable is not well connected. Please reconnect. It also might be the problem with
original audio file. Please check it also.
Q5. Why the remote controler doesn’t work?
A: 1. remote battery has no power. Change battery please. And make sure use the same
size battery. 2. the battery is not well installed. Please reinstall it according to the manul. 3.
Operate the remote controller in too long distance or too big angle. Please operate within
7m and ±30degree.4 please point at the unit when use the remote controller. Otherwise, it
won’t work.5. there is obstacle between the controller and unit. Please remove the
obstacle and operate again.
Q6. the computer can’t read the hard disk, how to solve it?
A:
1. USB power supply can’t afford to this product. Please plug in the double head USB to
the pc.
2. the hard disk is the first time to use, please format it first.
3. Check whether the USB cable is well connected. If no problem with the USB interface,
please check whether the computer’s BIOS setup has enabled/activised the USB or not.
If not, pls restart the PC and enter BIOS setup to activise the USB interface.
Q7: I downloaded a DivX movie and its subtitle. But how can I open the subtitle when I watch the
movie?
A: Please make sure the subtitle and movie file under same file name and are stored in
same folder. The subtitle will play automatically. This unit only supports subtitle in
SRT,SUB format. For other formats, they have to be transferred.
