Position the splint to the patient
Ensure thumb is sitting flush on the thumb pad and
the index finger is positionned in the loop.

Ensure the skin is clean and healthy.
Start to measure

Press and navigate wheel to the desired mode.

Press and hold for at least 2 seconds the wheel
button to start the electrical stimulation.

Cleaning of the ToFscan

Ensure there is battery available
Place ECG electrodes on the ulnar nerve

Space between electrodes: 2 to 5 cm (0.8in-2in)
•
Red clamp = proximal electrode.
•
Black clamp = distal electrode.

Only a good impedance
allows the
ToFscan to be used in good conditions.
Between each patient, desinfect the device and accessories without
immersing or spaying them.
Careful not to pull down on the sensor wires while cleaning.

Turn off the device
To turn off the ToFscan, navigate wheel to the power symbol and
hold for 2 seconds
