Installing External Device
1.
Mount the wireless door contact to the door frame via the mounting
holes. (Making sure that the base does not extend passed the frame and
will catch on the door when it opens or closes.)
2.
Close the door and mount the magnet onto the door next to the reed
switch. (Make sure that the magnet does not interfere with the wireless
door mag when opening and closing the door. Make sure that when
opening the door the magnet moves a sufficient distance away from the
reed switch to activate the reed switch.)
3.
Insert the AAA batteries into the battery holders when learning the door
mag into a zone.

Dispose of batteries or recycle in compliance with
environmental regulations of your country.
The device was tested for safety using the Energizer E92 AAA batteries. It is
recommended to only use the manufacturer

s approved battery or specifi-
cation

equivalent battery.

To connect another detector to the external input simply connect your
wires into the AUX IN connector.
2.
You can use either the door contacts reed switch or the external
connector or both. The door contact will automatically determine which
are being used based on whether the contact has changed.
