Countermeasures for errors in RS232C Communication
Two types of error during dispensing might occur when RS232C Communication is operating. The
causes and countermeasures are stated below.

Warnings during dispensing
The empty alarm or remaining condition of count up might occur during continuous dispense
operation by means of RS232C Communication. The error command in this case is the only
command, which occurs irrelevant to the Host command. The Host computer should stop
transmission when received the command from ACCURA 9.

Error in communication: (The error in below may occur in any reason.)

Status error
:
When parity error, overrun error or framing error occur

Time over error
:
It occurs if communication can not finish within 10 seconds
from the beginning.

Check sum error
:
It occurs when there is difference between check sum value which is
sent from Host computer and calculated value from received data for
ACCURA 9 in received treatment.
However, above-mentioned error is rarely occurred if the communication setting and operation between
the Host computer and ACCURA 9 are properly done. When the error is occurred, it may be
impossible to transmit the error message command. In this case, please perform the following
procedure to release the failure condition of RS232C communication.

Press the CLR RESET key and release the failure condition. (ACCURA 9 does not transmit the
error content (released ) command.)

Check and fix the defects in the communication setting of the Host computer and ACCURA 9.

Resume the communication from the Host computer.
