Initial operation of the scales
Preparing the scales
The scales are set to the correct weight unit upon
delivery. If this is not the case with your device,
please report it to your manufacturer and proceed
as follows: There is a small switch on the bottom of
the scales for the country-specific setting (KG =
kilogram / LB = pounds). Make sure that the scales
are set to the weight unit you are accustomed to.

Every authorisation process (pairing) deletes the
last one once it is complete.
Bluetooth authorisation (pairing): BT terminal
1.
Hold the scales and BT scales ready.
2.
Open the battery compartment on the under-
side of the scales.
3.
If required, remove the used batteries. Then
wait at least one minute.
4.
Insert new batteries (4 x AA LR6). Check that
the polarity is correct (+/-).
5.
Normally the scales will now search
actively
for Bluetooth devices.

The scales show
‘PAIr’
and emit
3 short
bleeps
(ti-ti-tuet). If not, then repeat step 3.

Once pairing has successfully been estab-
lished, the scales confirm this with
1 short
bleep
and show four zeros in a row
‘0000’
.
