IO-Link gateway configuration
5198
These calls enable the setting of the AS-i IO-Link module or reading back of the settings saved there.
Since the changes are optional, a read process of the actual settings is required in a device-
independent driver after a write request. "Write device group OK" does not acknowledge the
requested settings but only the successful transmission.
If the number of the analogue AS-i inputs and outputs is changed by writing the IO-Link gateway
configuration (optional), this change will not become effective until after an AS-i slave reset. The
setting of the event level is effective immediately. By setting all parameter bits (P0...P2) all of these
settings are reset to default values.

5208
This parameter describes the reaction of the AS-i IO-Link module to the events of the IO-Link device.
Event level
Description
0
The AS-i periphery fault is set as long as at least one connected IO-Link device signals a current error
state (default).
1
The AS-i periphery fault is not affected by events in the IO-Link device.
2
A new IO-Link event sets the AS-i periphery fault which is only reset by reading the diagnosis dataset of
the respective port.
