Operating Instructions
Ensure that the voltage in your home matches the voltage on the rating plate before using the unit.
Plug the air cooler into an electrical socket and turn on.
Timer
Set the timer control dial to the desired running time by rotating it clockwise. The unit can be set to run from 0
to 120 minutes. When the timer reaches 0 the unit will turn off.
Cool
•
Ensure the drain plug is securely in place
•
Fill the water tank with cold clean water to the MAX level.
•
Press the COOL button. This will cause the pump to draw water from the tank to the cooling pads.
Freezer packs (not supplied)
Freezer packs can be used to increase the cooling level. Place freezer packs in the freezer overnight before
using. Place the packs into the water tank before filling the tank with water to avoid the water rising above
the MAX water fill level indicator.
Once the freezer packs have melted you can add ice for increased cooling.
WARNING:
•
Ice packs contain chemicals. DO NOT REMOVE CAPS AND EMPTY CONTENTS OF THE
FREEZER PACKS.

DO NOT INGEST THE CONTENTS OF THE FREEZER PACKS.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the freezer packs. When
not in use, store it safely.
•
If your freezer packs leak do not pour contents down a sink. Soak up as much as possible with a
cloth and transfer cloth and freezer pack into a rubbish bin. Let floor dry and then vacuum up the
residue dust.
•
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If chemical comes into contact with skin, wash hands thoroughly. If
chemical comes into contact with eyes, rinse well and seek medical advice.
Warning:
Do not move the unit when it is in operation as water could spill on to the motor or electrical
components which may damage the unit and cause a hazard.
Oscillation
Press the OSC key once to turn on the oscillation and air will oscillate horizontally. To stop press
the STOP button.
The fan has 3 speed settings which can be changed by pressing either the LO, MI or HI.
Humidifier
This unit will only operate as a humidifier in rooms with a high ambient temperature. Use water at
room temperature and do not add ice to the water tank.
