11. A 50 – 76 mm (2 – 3 in) pattern is recommended for
ground contact and allows the tips or ends of the
bristles to dig and break up the debris then throw the
debris off the pavement into the bucket .
12. Excessive down pressure can result in the following
problems which reduce broom performance:
a.
The sides of the bristles trying to dig and break
up the debris and cause increased wear at the
contact point.
b.
The bristles are stressed and can break off in
full length pieces.
Dumping The Sweeper
WARNING
TIPPING HAZARD
Consult the lift restriction decal before lifting or
dumping. Lower sweeper to ground and stop engine
before cleaning, servicing, or repairing. Carriers with
lift restrictions should not exceed 0,3 (1 ft) from the
ground.

1.
Lift the attachment slightly off the ground.

3.
The broom can be slowly rotated to help empty the
attachment by using the forward travel rotation. See
lift restriction before lifting or dumping.
NOTE:
Excessive shaking of the sweeper in the dump
position could cause damage to the sweeper and
should be avoided.
