FEATURES AND OPERATIONS
D) ARMING
To arm the system, push the AUX 1 button. This will lock the doors (if equipped and connected). For systems with upgraded
Alarm model, this will activate the sensors for the alarm also.
E) DISARMING
To disarm the system, push the AUX 1 button. This will unlock the doors (if equipped and connected). For systems with
upgraded Alarm model, this will deactivate the sensors for the alarm also.
F) PASSIVE ARMING
If the system has been programmed by your dealer, the Anti-Start function will automatically engage (arm itself) 30 seconds
after the engine has been stopped with the ignition key and if it has not been armed using the procedure outlined above
(Arming). This will occur whenever you leave the vehicle without arming the system. If equipped and connected the doors
will also lock.
G) TEMPORARY DISARM AND VALET MODE
Temporary Disarm and Valet Mode will allow the user to disable the Anti-Start function. This will make your vehicle function
like a vehicle without the Ignited Remote Performance Starter installed. This feature may be used if you have lost your
remote, if your remote is out of battery, if you are using Valet Parking service or if you are bringing your vehicle in for
servicing.
Remark:
It is recommended that you practice using your Valet Mode before you actually need it. This way, you
will be aware of what to do if you were to lose a remote.
