Every Dot Inspector is manufactured with the highest quality of workmanship. Please read the following
to information carefully to assure long-lasting operation with this instrument.

Turn off the instrument and remove the batteries if it is not being used for a long period of time.

The unit can be damaged if the polarity of the batteries is mistakenly reversed.
Remove the old dead batteries immediately to avoid battery leakage. Do not mix and match
batteries. Only use new, AAA Alkaline batteries as replacements.

3. HOW TO USE
3.1 Magnifier Installation
The Dot Inspector is designed to allow you to quickly change the magnification. Ihara provides three
types of magnifiers -- Available in 20x, 30x and 50x.
1. Rotate the focus cap counterclockwise until it is removed.
2. Insert the magnifier halfway into the focus cap with slight pressure.
3. Position the focus cap on the Dot Inspector body and rotate it clockwise until it stops.
4. Press the magnifier down until the magnifier is properly seated.
3.2 Holding and Operation
The contrasting light enables the user to clearly view each Cyan, Magenta and Yellow dot, and the
overall image.
Cyan Images:
The Cyan key will enable the red LED.
Magenta Images: The Magenta key will enable the green LED.
