4. After entering the Seed Position, you will be
prompted next to clear the active flight plan.

Signal
Strength
The unit shows the GPS signal strength screen in the
GPS Sensor function. Make it a habit to check this
screen to make sure that the unit is properly tracking
visible satellites before you fly. The Apollo GX
requires signals from at least four satellites to
calculate a 3D position fix (Lat/Lon and GPS
altitude). More details are available in the GPS
Sensor part of the System section of this manual, see
page 125.
1. Press SYS and turn the LARGE knob to display the
GPS Sensor function. Press ENTER.
