Read the instruction manual carefully before using the tool and follow all given instructions.

This tool is intended for cutting polystyrene and similar materials only.
- The tool is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Don’t
let children play with it.

Do not use this tool in damp conditions and protect it from moisture.
-
Do not use metallic rulers for guiding the blade.
-
Do not touch the tool until it has cooled down completely.
- If the temperature inside the tool is too high, an internal automatic protective thermoswitch will
turn it off. It will operate again after is has cooled to room temperature.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a quali-
fied electrician.

Do not open the case.
- During breaks the blade must be kept upwards when the tool
lies on the table, as in the enclosed picture.
Operation
-
Select a correct blade according to the required cutting depth.

Loosen the nuts when the tool is cold.
- Insert the legs of the blade, tighten the nuts and make sure that the blade is properly installed. If
the blade will not heat up, check the blade for proper installation.

Connect the tool to power supply.

When you press the switch, the blade will heat up.
- After you have finished working, place the tool on an incombustible surface and do not touch it
until it has cooled down completely.

Clean the cooled blade with the provided wire brush.
