ASSEMBLY 

 
1.

Mount the bending bracket to the base us-
ing the components shown in figure 1. 

2.

Connect the yoke arm and handle together 
with the clevis pin and the spring cotter 
pin. 

3.

Mount the handle assembly onto the bend-
ing bracket with a long hitch pin. 

4.

Bolt the bender to the floor or other stable 
surface. 

OPERATION 

General instructions 

-

The stop block and center die are secured 
using the long hitch pins, and the die using 
the short hitch pin. 

-

The support block is used to raise the level 
of the stop block so that it is even with the 
center die.

The stop block must be positioned in one 
of the four ways illustrated in figure 2. 
Always position the stop block so that it is 
as close as possible to the center die de-
pending on the thickness of the workpiece.

Always pull the handle clockwise when 
bending. 

Radius bending 

1.

Select the die that most closely matches 
the radius you wish to bend and install it 
on the center pin using a long hitch pin. 

2.

Mount the block support and stop block 
onto the bending bracket as shown in fig-
ure 3. 

3.

Select the size of die that will secure the 
workpiece without the workpiece slipping 
and install it on the yoke arm with the 
short hitch pin. Ensure the die is as close to 
the workpiece as possible.
