3.7 Stopping the mower
To minimise possible risk of accidents, the engine of your
lawnmower is coupled to an operator control. When the
operator control lever is released, it returns immediately
to its rest position and the engine is automatically turned
off.
When the engine has been switched off, the blades
continues running for several seconds therefore do
not touch the underside of the mower until the blade
has come to a standstill!
4. MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and
trouble-free operation. It will also help reduce air pollu-
tion.
The purpose of the maintenance and adjustment sched-
ule is to keep the machine in the best operating condition.
Turn off the engine before performing any maintenance. If
the engine must be run, make sure the area is well venti-
lated. The exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide
gas.
Please always select recommended/original accessories.
The accessories which have not equivalent quality may
damage the machine.
Please never use non approved components and never
remove the safety devices.
