Everyday use

Using the FM radio

Turn your iPod Handbag on using the

ON/OFF

 switch.

1

   Select FM by using the

SOURCE

SELECTOR

switch on the top of your

iPod Handbag.

2

You can select the desired frequency by

turning the radio TUNING wheel on the
right panel of the unit.

3

Turn the wheel clockwise for lower

frequencies and anti-clockwise for
higher frequencies.

Using the telescopic aerial

For improved reception use the telescopic
aerial on the top of your handbag. The
aerial extends up and down but does not
move side to side. Under no circumstances
try to bend the aerial as this will damage
your iPod Handbag.

Note:

You can select the desired volume using
the

VOLUME

wheel on the left side panel.

Turn clockwise to turn the volume up, or
anti-clockwise to turn it down.

Playing your iPod

You can play your iPod through your
iPod Handbag. Connect your iPod to the
cradle on the front of the unit. To do this,
twist the ADJUSTABLE DOCK DIAL to
select the model of iPod you are docking.

iPod models and memory sizes that are not
listed on the ADJUSTABLE DOCK DIAL can
be connected by adjusting the dial to the
depth that fits the iPod best.

1

   Select

ON

 to turn the unit on.

3

Select iPod on the SOURCE SELECT

SWITCH to switch the unit to iPod mode.

4

The iPod will automatically begin playing

through the unit. Controls on the iPod
can be used to select songs and play
music as you would normally.

Note:

Charging your iPod

While the power is on, the unit will
automatically charge your iPod.

Connecting an external device

You can connect an external device to your iPod Handbag using 3.5mm line-in cable
(not included), as shown below. This will allow the device to play through your music system’s
speakers. You will need to purchase a line-in cable (for more information see www.asda.com).

Use the

SOURCE SELECTOR

switch to select LINE IN. Once the device is connected

you can control playback as you would usually.

You can turn the

VOLUME WHEEL

on the iPod Handbag to increase or reduce the volume.
