Installation and Registration of the ELOC3
This chapter describes the procedure for installing the system. It explains the activation and
attachment of the EL3CT1 and how to register the device in the h2n Track-it
®
portal.
3.1
First Activation of the ELOC3
All ELOC3 devices are switched off during storage and distribution in order to not consume energy.
Depending on the model, there are two ways to switch on the devices.
1. battery-operated devices are switched on once using a magnet. The devices then
remain permanently switched on and can no longer be switched off. The devices run
for several years until the internal battery is completely discharged.
2. Devices with an external power supply are automatically switched on the first time
they are connected to an external power supply and the internal battery remains on
until it is exhausted. It is not intended to switch off the internal batteries.
