CLEANING BEFORE FIRST USE
• Unpack the appliance.
• Clean the tongs (2) with soap and water or in the dishwasher without exceeding 55 °C.
• Clean the outer sides (7) with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
USE
Let it operate empty the first time it is used, to disperse the fumes and
the typical smell of a new appliance.
•
DO NOT leave food inside the cooking chambers (3) longer than necessary.
• Avoid food that drips during cooking.
•
DO NOT force the filled slices of bread into the tongs (2) and the cooking
chambers (3). If the toast remains too high, remove some filling and insert
it again.
•
NEVER place the appliance on paper/cardboard or plastic surfaces.
• Open the tongs (1) by pressing the handle (2) [Fig. B].
• Insert the food in the tongs (1) [Fig. C].
• Insert the tongs (1) in the cooking chambers (3) [Fig. D].
• Insert the plug (6) in the socket.
• Turn the timer knob (5) clockwise to select the desired cooking time [Fig. E].
• The appliance will switch off automatically and emit a beep.
• Remove the tongs (1) and press the handle (2) to remove the toast.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Switch the toaster off.
• Remove the electric plug (6) from the socket.
• Let the toaster cool down completely.
• Remove the crumb tray (8) and empty it.
• Clean the tongs (2) and the crumb tray (8) with soap and water or in the dishwasher
without exceeding 55 °C.
• Clean the outer sides (4) with a damp and well-wrung sponge. Dry with a dry cloth.
