The TecBox
Ready-to-operate unit, connected through the SA connections to the consumer system and through
the SNS connection to the mains water system (mainly potable water). Combinations with suitable
additional equipment are possible, for example ComCube DCD control extension.

fillsafe water make-up FIQ
fillsafe water make-up FIQ ensures maximum safety:
• Water make-up controlled by contact water meter and electronic checking of water make-up
quantity, time, and frequency.
• Pressure-dependent, for expansion vessels with fixed air cushion (e.g. Statico).
PIS – integrated pressure sensor.
LSext – external make-up signal from a pressurisation system. The digital input required is integrated
in the BrainCube. Alternatively, the RS 485-1 interface can also be used

• EN 1717 potable water protection by back flow preventer BA.
• Uncontrolled water make-up, e.g. due to leakage, is detected and stopped.
Additional equipment
ComCube DCD
The ComCube DCD communication module is connected to the BrainCube control through the RS
485-1 interface. This extends its functionality. There are also six digital inputs available for registering
and displaying external volt-free signals, and nine volt-free, separately configurable digital outputs.
These can be used, for example, to send selected parameters simply and clearly to the building
management system.

ComCube DCA
The ComCube DCA communication module provides 2 galvanically isolated 4-20 mA analogue
outputs. These make it simple to send PIS pressure signals to a building management system.

Pleno PI is a water make-up unit for closed heating, solar and chilled water systems. Pleno PI at all
times ensures the water reserve necessary for optimum operation of the expansion vessels, and
acts as a pressure maintenance monitoring device as defined in EN 12828-4.7.4.
