Option
RS 485-1 interface
The RS 485-1 interface can be used to connect ComCube DCD
communication modules and/or to receive water make-up signals (
:
pages 53 | 61 - 62). The interface can be read externally. The IMI Hydronic
Engineering protocol can be supplied on request.
The total length of the data link should be no more than 1,000 m. A
twisted pair shielded cable with wire diameter ≥ 0.5 mm² should be used
(for example, Belden Type 9501).
The RS 485-1 jumper in the final equipment on the data link must be set
to «on», and the jumper on intermediate equipment to «off».
Water make-up through RS 485-1 interface
Pleno PI can be networked through the RS 485-1 interface to receive
water make-up signals from the Transfero and Compresso TecBoxes and
switch the water make-up accordingly. Please read the information on
connecting cables and jumper settings (
