Setting BrainCube parameters
H
ST
- Static height
Variant 1:
Set the actual static height. If the Pleno PI_ is operated with Compresso
or Tranfero pressure maintenance stations, the settings in the BrainCube controls
must match:
H
STPleno
= H
STCompresso
or H
STPleno
= H
STTransfero
Variant 2:
You want to operate Pleno PI_ with the Statico, for which pre-set
pressure P0 is already known. In this case, set the static height on the Pleno Pl_
as follows:
HST = (P0
Statico
– 0.3 bar) * 10
This value must be at least equal to the actual static height.
Example:
Actual static height
: HST
= 21 m
Pre-set pressure in the Statico : P0
= 3.1 bar
Static height to be set
: HST
= 28 m
H
ST
= (3.1 – 0.3) * 10 bar = 28 m
TAZ - Temperature limit in heat generator
PSV - Response pressure of safety valve at heat generator
If the heat generator is located h (m) below the pressurisation system, the
BrainCube PSV setting value is calculated as follows: PSV – h/10; if it is higher:
PSV + h/10.
BrainCube calculations and display
Min. pressure
• P0 = HST/10 + pD (TAZ) + 0.3 bar
If pressure maintenance and Pleno Pl_ connected on suction side as shown.
• P0 = HST/10 + pD
(TAZ) + 0.3 bar + ∆p
P
If pressure maintenance and Pleno Pl_ are connected on the pressure side, take
account of circulating pump dynamic pressure ∆p
P.
Initial pressure: pa:
= P0 + 0.3 bar
Final pressure: pe
= PSV – 0.5 bar (for PSV ≤ 5.0 bar)
pe
= PSV * 0.9
(for PSV > 5.0 bar)
Max. pressure: PSV
