1.8 PROGRAMMABLE ROOM
THERMOSTATS (OPTIONAL).
For the additional zones the boiler is predisposed
for the application of additional zone controls, or
alternatively the extra zones can be managed via
digital On/Off chrono-thermostats.
• On/Off digital Immergas chrono-thermostat
(Fig. 1-5). The chrono-thermostat allows:
- set two room temperature value: one for
daytime (comfort temperature) and one for
night-time (reduced temperature);
- set a weekly program with four daily switch
on and switch off times;
- select the required operating mode from the
various possible alternatives:
- manual mode (with adjustable temperature).
- automatic mode (with set program).
- forced automatic mode (momentarily
changing the temperature of the automatic
program).
The chrono-thermostat is powered by two 1.5V
LR 6 type alkaline batteries.
On/Off chrono-thermostat electric connection
(Optional)
. Any On/Off room chrono-thermo-
stat must be connected to clamps 40-1 - 41 and
40-2 - 41, eliminating the jumper (Fig. 1-4). Make
sure that the On/Off thermostat contact is of the
“clean” type, i.e. independent of the mains supply,
otherwise the P.C.B. would be damaged.
Attention:
the jumpers on clamps 40-1 - 41 and
40-2 - 41 must only be eliminated if there is an
On/Off digital chrono-thermostat.
1.9 EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE PROBE
(OPTIONAL).
In the event the external probe on the heat
pump is not positioned in a suitable manner
for the adjustment of the system temperatures
(for example exposure to the South or directly
exposed to the sun) it is possible to connect a
replacement Immergas external probe (Fig. 1-7)
which is available as an optional kit. Refer to the
relative instruction sheet to position the external
probe. The probe can be connected directly to
the boiler electrical system and allows the max.
system flow temperature to be automatically de-
creased when the external temperature increases,
in order to adjust the heat supplied to the system
according to the change in external temperature.
In presence of the additional external probe, one
must disable the external probe fitted on the heat
pump as indicated in the paragraph "electronic
board programming" (Par. 3.10).
The electric connection of the external probe
must be made on clamps 38 and 39 on the system
manager box (Fig. 1-4).
1.10 HUMIDITY TEMPERATURE PROBES
(OPTIONAL).
In the event the thermal system needs to man-
age the humidity and the relative dew point,
one must install a humidity temperature probe
that is available as an optional kit (Fig. 1-6). The
probe only manages the humidity parameter and
controls the flow temperature during the cooling
stage, therefore heating and cooling requests
must always be managed by an On/Off room
chrono-thermostat. The probe can be connected
directly to the electric system of the boiler. The
electric connection of the external probe must be
made on clamps 24 ÷ 25 on the system manager
box (Fig. 1-4).
