H.2 Configuring the LAN Settings
You can configure several LAN settings for each SM using the Disk Array Administrator software:

H.2.1 Configuring the IP Settings
You can set three IP-related settings:
•
IP Address
: Internet Protocol address of the SM module. Factory default is 10.0.0.1. You need
two IP addresses, one for each SM module.
•
IP Mask
: Subnet mask. Factory default is 255.255.255.0.
•
Gateway
: Optional Factory default is 0.0.0.0. See your LAN administrator for more information.
If you are not sure what IP address, subnet mask, and gateway to use, contact your LAN administrator.
Record the IP addresses, IP mask, and gateway below:
• IP address for SM module A ____________________
• IP address for SM module B ____________________
• IP mask ____________________
• Gateway ____________________
To set the IP address, subnet mask, or gateway:
