WARNING
If vibration occurs during starting, stop the pump immediately and eliminate the
cause before starting again.
11. Let the engine run for five minutes before the pump is connected to the dewatering system.
12. If the engine does not start, press and hold the red handle on the oil-pressure protection. Start
the engine and release the handle once the engine is running.
WARNING
The pump must never pump against a closed shut-off valve! Otherwise there is a
danger of explosion in the pump or the piping system.
WARNING
Dewatering activities will have an impact on the surrounding area in which
water is being extracted from the ground.
Settling of the ground occurs during groundwater extraction. This can result
in grains of sand moving closer together, which will have an impact on the
ground.
This can cause cracks in buildings and pipes. It can also result in rotting of
wooden foundation piles if the groundwater is kept at a low level for an
extended period of time
.
Before starting a dewatering system, make sure a sound dewatering plan has
been prepared and that the impact on the surrounding area is clear.
7.2 Stopping (type1)
1.
Turn the switch on the control panel to off position (1).
2. When you suspect that the liquid is beginning to freeze, drain the pump while the medium is still in
the liquid state.
3. Before the pump is shut down, check whether this has an impact on the dewatering system.
4. Close the shut-off valve (if present).
5. Close the suction shut-off valve.(if present).
