• Position yourself in front of the appliance.
- The distance between your face and the screen should 15 to 50cm. Adjust it as you wish so that your eyes are
comfortable.
- You do not have to sit directly in front of the appliance.
- You can space out the duration of your light therapy session.
• Do not look at the lamp directly. During the session you can read, write, speak on the telephone, etc.
• Exposure should be regular over a prolonged period. During the darkest days of the year, repeat the treatment for 7
consecutive days at least, or even more, according to your individual requirements.
• After use, switch the appliance off by putting the button located on the front of the appliance in the “0” position and
unplug it.
• If during the light session you feel any eye or other pain, stop using the
DAY LIGHT
immediately and consult your
doctor.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Cleaning:
• Unplug the appliance and leave it to cool.
• Use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the exterior surface of the lamp.
• Never use scouring pads, abrasive products or strong detergents to clean the appliance.
Storage:
• Store your unit in a safe dry place, out of reach of children.
REMPLACING THE TUBE
Other than the tube, the appliance does not contain any parts that need replacing. The tube is expected to operate for
approximately 8,000 hours (which is equivalent to several years of normal usage). The tube must be replaced with a
similar tube.
To replace the tube, please follow the instructions below:
- Using a screwdriver (not provided), unscrew the 2 screws located at the back of the appliance (see
Fig. 2
.)
- Then remove the reflective cover as shown in the diagram (
Fig.3
.)
- Next, remove the fastening clip and remove the screw located at the base of the tube. You can now remove the tube as
shown in the diagram (
Fig.4
).
- Once the tube has been replaced, replace the reflective cover and the screw before using the
DAY LIGHT
again.
