BELT TENSION
Tension belt as follows:
1
With hydraulic motor mounting bolts loose, install belt.
2
Spread pulleys by hand, roughly tensioning belt.

Install tensioning tool between pulleys. Rotate center section to spread pulleys apart.

Place straightedge across top of pulleys. Push on top of belt to a deflection of 0.155".
Measure force using belt tensioning gauge 79733864.
5
With tool still in place, tighten motor mount bolts. Release tool.
6
Re-check belt deflection and force with gauge. Adjust as necessary.

Belt tension specifications based on 9.95" span:
New Belt - 0.155" belt deflection at 10.7-11.5 lb
Used Belt - 0.155" belt deflection at 9.23-9.99 lb
