5. Activation and use
The G-force Brake should only be activated from straight flight at trim speed. For this purpose, the deployment bag is thrown
sideways to the rear.
After the brake parachute has opened, the spiral is initiated as usual. It is important to note that the direction of rotation is
always the same as that in which the G-force Brake is attached to the harness karabiner.
Attention:
the G-force brake reduces the glide angle significantly. This does not affect the paraglider, but once activated, it
must only be flown at trim speed and no other flight manoeuvres apart from steep spirals (see 4. Mounting / Assembly).
The steep spiral is released as usual at a safe altitude. The transition to straight flight is a little more damped, i.e. without G-
force brake, but it is recommended that the spiral is released gently and without a lot of energy.
In straight flight the G-force brake should be deactivated.
6. Disabling
The G-force Brake must always be disabled after use in a steep spiral, at the latest before landing.
To do this, the G-force Brake is collapsed using the red kill handle located on the connecting bridle. Pulling the handle
shortens the centre line of the canopy to such an extent that it collapses and no longer produces any significant amount of
drag.
To fix the Kill-handle the hook is fixed in the loop provided on the connecting bridle:

7. Important information
The manual must be read carefully before use.
The G-force Brake is not a drag parachute for reducing the glide angle and is therefore not suitable for use during final
approach.
It should also not be used in straight flight or in accelerated flight. Due to the asymmetrical attachment to one karabiner, the
pilot may sit in an inclined angle to the flight direction.
After deployment, the G-force must not be returned to the harness. An uncontrolled reopening is possible and could be
dangerous.
If the G-force Brake is collapsed, no unnecessary manoeuvres should be performed to avoid tangling with the paraglider.
It must be ensured that the G-force Brake cannot get caught on trees, fences or other objects during landing.
The G-force Brake is not certified, as there are no specific standards existing for this product. Its use may invalidate the type
approval tests for other paragliding equipment used and the use is at your own risk!
Paragliding is a potentially dangerous sport and can lead to injury or death. Improper use significantly increases this risk!
Any liability against the manufacturer or distributor resulting from the use of the product is excluded. This is expressly
accepted with the use of the product.
8. Maintenance and care
The lifespan and condition of the product highly depends on the care of the user. We recommend that the G-force Brake is
inspected regularly, at the latest after use for signs of wear, tear and damage.
If a damage is detected, the G-force brake may no longer be used until it has been properly repaired.
10. Repacking
1. place the canopy in a round position.
The kill-handle (see 6. Disabling) must
be in the unhooked position.
2. lay the canopy to one side. The
lines are sorted and placed in the
canopy without any twist.
3. Fold the canopy from both sides
inwards.
4. Fold in hem.
5. Fold the canopy from both sides
inwards.
6. Fold the canopy again from both
sides inwards.
7. Fold the canopy on each other.
8. put canopy in deployment bag.
9. fold canopy in S-folds in
deployment bag.
10. close deployment bag with lines.
11. Open the zip of the outer
container, lead the bridle through
the outer container. Put in the
deployment bag.
12. Let the bridle stick out as far as
necessary. Pull out the deployment
handle and close the zip.
If the G-force Brake has become wet or damp, it must be opened as soon as possible and dried in a well-ventilated place -
but not in the sun - and then repacked to avoid stains and mould.
Exposure to sunlight should be avoided, as ultraviolet radiation weakens the molecular structure of the material.
Contact with salt water, acids or other aggressive substances must be avoided.
Dirty canopies and containers can be carefully cleaned with clean tap water and a soft sponge.
Attention:
Never use chemicals, brushes, hard sponges or similar for cleaning! In case of contact with salt water, rinse the
G-force Brake with plenty of fresh water. Frequent rinsing/cleaning accelerates the ageing process of the system..
9. Environmentally friendly disposal
At the end of the product's service life, ensure that it is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. We are happy to
take care of this when returning the product.
