3. Press the door to release the latch, open the
dryer, then proceed to check the position and
cleanliness of the filter and make certain that
the water tray is empty and correctly in place
(see Maintenance section).
4. Load the laundry into the drum, taking care that
no part of any garment is trapped between the
door and the relative seal. Close the door.
5. If the
ON/Off
indicator is not alight: Press the
ON/Off
button.
6. Press the Programme selection button corre-
sponding to the type of fabric being dried, che-
cking the programme table (see Programmes),
as well as the indications given for each type of
fabric (see Laundry).
- then select the option button for timed drying,
or, if available, select automatic drying (most
programmes have automatic as the default
setting); see the Programmes table.
7. Set a delay and select other options, if neces-
sary.
8. To select the option of a warning beep at the
end of the programme, press
ALARM.
9. Press the
START
button to run the program-
me.
The display gives an indication of the time re-
maining.
During operation, the door can be opened to
allow the removal of clothes that have already
dried, leaving the remainder to dry further. Ha-
ving closed the door, the
START
button must
be pressed again for the dryer to resume ope-
ration.
10. During the final few minutes of a drying program-
me, shortly before the end, the
COOLINg
stage
will cut in (to remove heat from the fabrics); this
step must always be activated for the cycle to
finish.
11. A beep will sound (if the Alarm option has been
selected) to warn the user that the programme
has finished, and appears in the display.
Open the door and remove the laundry, then
clean and replace the filter. Empty the water
collection tray and replace (see Maintenance
section).
If Post Care has been selected and the laundry is
not removed immediately, the dryer will continue
to operate intermittently for 10 hours, or until such
time as the door is opened.
12. Unplug the dryer from the mains socket.
