18. Control with compensated setpoint
The compensated setpoint applies to the MASTER or SLAVE_Y controller for the valve control. The function allows an operat-
ing setpoint to be dynamically calculated according to the external temperature. In winter, it is normally used to raise the supply
setpoint, when the external temperature falls. In summer, it can calculate a supply setpoint, based on the external temperature
to avoid having a large temperature difference between the cooled internal environment and the external one.
To use the compensated setpoint, select an operating mode with compensation:
M02
=1, 2 (control with compensation in cool-
ing mode) or
M02
=1, 4, 5 (control with compensation in heating mode).

to use input AI2 or
M12
=4 to use input AI3.
For SLAVE_Y controller with Modbus, the external sensor temperature information is received by the MASTER controller via
Modbus.
For SLAVE_Y controllers without Modbus, if operation with compensated setpoint is chosen, an external sensor must be con-
nected to each SLAVE_Y controller.
To enable the compensation in cooling mode, set parameter
M02
=1 or 2,
To enable the compensation in heating mode, set parameter
M02
=1 or 4 or 5,
To enable the compensation in cooling and heating mode, set parameter
M02
=2,
To disable this function, set parameter
M02
=0 or 3.
