Storing programs and general settings
It is possible to store tailored welding recipes by using
the ‘E7’ selector switch. In total, 100 programmes can
be stored.
After set all the desired parameters, access the storage
menu by pressing the selector ‘E7’ for two seconds.
Save a program:
•
Rotate knob ‘E6’ and select
STO
(Store).
•
Rotate knob ‘E7’ for choosing the desired memory
location, shown on display ‘D4’.
•
If such chosen memory number is blinking, it means
it is free. On the contrary, if it is steady lit, it means
that it is already occupied: by confirming the
operation, the existing programme will be
overwritten.
•
Press ‘E7’ for two seconds to confirm or ‘E6’ to
cancel. The LED lights up blue ‘
3
’ for 2 seconds
indicates the save operation is complete.
Load and modify a program:
•
Rotate knob ‘E6’ and select
LOD
(Load).
•
Rotate knob ‘E7’ for choosing the memory location to
be loaded (if the number of the chosen position is
blinking, it means that the ‘Programme doesn’t
exist’).
•
Press ‘E7’ for two seconds to confirm or ‘E6’ to
cancel. The LED lights up blue ‘
3
’ for 2 seconds
indicates the load operation is complete.
Delete a program:
•
Rotate knob ‘E6’ and select
DEL
(Delete).
•
Rotate knob ‘E7’ for choosing the memory location to
be deleted (if the number of the chosen position is
blinking, it means that the ‘Programme doesn’t
exist’).
•
Press ‘E7’ for two seconds to confirm or ‘E6’ to
cancel. The LED lights up blue ‘
3
’ for 2 seconds
indicates the delete operation is complete.
Cooling unit setting:
•
Rotate knob ‘E6’ and select
H2O
.
•
Rotate knob ‘E7’ for choosing
ON
to enable or
OFF
to disable the cooling unit.
•
Press ‘E6’ to exit from menu.
Reset to factory setting
•
Rotate knob ‘E6’ and select
FAC
.
•
Rotate knob ‘E7’ for choosing
YES
.
•
Press ‘E7’ for two seconds to confirm or ‘E6’ to
cancel. The LED lights up blue ‘
3
’ for 2 seconds
indicates the reset operation is complete.
14 Visualizations on the front panel of
generator
The visualizations on the front panel of generator are
described here below with reference to the following
figure.
The machine can be switched on by turning to its ON
position the main switch, located at the back of the
generator. When the machine is on, the ‘L1’ green LED
is lit.
The ‘L2’ yellow LED indicates that protection devices
have tripped.
The ‘L3’ red LED indicates, in MIG/MAG, that with the
set parameters a welding in ‘Globular’ mode is being
executed; this mode is advised against fir the sake of
the final welding result.
