RTSP Port:
Default is5 54, if the default port 554 is already taken by other applications, this should be
changed.
UPNP
: To log in to the DVR remotely using Web Client, complete the port forwarding. Enable this option
if the router supports the UPnP, and this should be enabled both on the DVR and the router. In this case,
manual configuration of port forwarding on the router is not required. If the router does not support
UPnP, then port forwarding should be completed manually.
9.5 DDNS
This menu is used to configure the DDNS settings. The DDNS provides a static address to simplify
remote connection to the DVR. To use the DDNS, open an account on the DDNS service provider’s
web page.
DDNS
: Check to enable DDNS.
Server
: Select the preferred DDNS server (DDNS_3322, DYNDNS, NO_IP, CHANGEIP, DNSEXIT).
Domain
: Enter the domain name created on the DDNS service provider’s web page. This will be the
address to be typed in the URL box, to connect remotely to the DVR via PC. Fox example:
dvr.no-ip.org.
User/Password
: Enter the user name and password obtained when creating an account on the DDNS
service provider’s web page.
After all parameters are entered, click
Test DDNS
to test the DDNS settings. If the test result is “Network is
unreachable or DNS is incorrect”, check whether the network works fine, or the DDNS information is
correct or not.
9.6 Email
This menu is used to configure email settings. Complete these settings to receive the system
notifications emails when events such as an alarm is triggered, HDD becomes full, HDD is in error state,
or when Video Loss occurs.
