11.1.2 NTP Settings
The NTP (Network Time Protocol) function allows the DVR to automatically sync its clock with a time
server. This gives it the ability to constantly have an accurate time setting (DVR will periodically sync
automatically).
11.1.3 DST Settings
The DST (Daylight Saving Time) function allows selecting the amount of time that Daylight Saving has
increased by in a particular time zone or region.
Enable DST
: Check this option to enable Daylight Saving Time.
Time Offset
: Select the amount of time that Daylight Saving has increased by in the time zone. This
refers to the difference in minutes, between Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and the local time.
Enable DST:
Select how Daylight Saving starts and ends:
Week:
Select the month, a particular day and time when Daylight Saving starts and ends. For
example, 2 a.m. on the first Sunday of a particular month.
Date:
Select the start date (click the calendar icon), end date and time when Daylight Saving
starts and ends.
Start Time / End Time
: Set the start time and end time for Daylight Saving.
Check to enable the
NTP
, and select a
Server
Address
, click Update Now to manually sync the
date and time.
Click
Apply
to save the settings.
When NTP function is enabled, system will update
the system time at 00:07:50 everyday, or every
time when the system is starting up.
