2.3 Installing the second projector

Projector B
placed on
Pro-
jector A
, push
Projector B’s
elevator feet to extend the eleva-
tor feet without lifting
Projector B
.
Make sure the elevator feet reach
the bottom of the stack pockets
on
Projector A
.
NOTES
• You must keep
Projector B
slightly away from
Projector A
except
for the heel portion to prevent both projectors from resonating due to the
sound output from the built-in speakers.
•
If
Projector B
is tilted any farther,
Projector B’s
image may not superimpose
onto
Projector A’s
image.
•
If
Projector A’s
elevator feet are used, make sure the tilt angle for both
projector is no greater than 12 degrees from level.
CAUTION
►Be careful when
stacking both projectors, the pro-
jector on top may slide off.
Connecting projectors
To use Smart Stack, connect an RS232 cross cable between the
CONTROL
ports
of
Projector A
and
Projector B
.
3.
Rotate
Projector B’s
elevator feet
counterclockwise twice and leave a ~1mm gap between the protrusion at the
bottom of
Projector B
and the top of
Projector A
as shown in the figure.
Stacking the projectors
1.
Place
Projector B
on
Projector A
when stacking both projectors. Make sure
the heel on the bottom of
Projector B
is inserted into the corresponding pock
