Dial-out sequence
Explanation
When the M60 detects an alarm a
dial-out sequence
will occur unless the
‘
channel inhibit
’ has been selected. (For more informa�on on ‘channel inhibit’
see the M60 installa�on instruc�ons).
The M60 has the facility to delay any alarm channel from beginning the dial-out
sequence before a pre-defined period of �me has elapsed. This facility was
added to minimise false alarms (e.g. Momentary Power failure, temperatures
reaching alarm state for a short period of �me etc).
We have found from experience that 95% of customers request for all ‘alarm
delays’ to be set for 1 minute. I.e. From the moment an alarm occurs to the
M60 beginning it’s dial-out sequence (See ‘alarm delays’ for more
informa�on’).
