Caution:

Do not connect the lamp to the power supply

until it has been properly unpacked and stood on a level
surface.

The telescope arm must be handled with care. Grasp as
close to the base as possible when making adjustments.

Important:

Take care that the cable does not become

twisted or bent.

Transformer

The brightness of the light is freely adjustable via the sliding
control on the transformer, which also switches the lamp
on and off.

Important:

The transformer must be sufficiently ventilated

and should never be covered by any object or material likely
to block air circulation.

Changing the bulb

Caution:

Remove the plug from the power point and

allow the lamp to cool down completely. Do not touch
the replacement bulb with your bare hands.

Unfasten the two press-studs and remove the wire-mesh
shade by unhooking it from the retaining pins on the
underside of the reflector and then sliding the plastic sleeve
over the handle.
Hold the protective glass cover with one hand and use the
tip of a screwdriver to release one of the hooks on the
retaining springs.
Remove the protective glass cover and pull the spent bulb
out of the socket. Insert the new bulb.
Fit three of the hooks over the edge of the protective glass
cover and steady the cover with one hand while you use
the screwdriver tip to press the fourth hook back over the

edge of the glass before easing it into position. Slide the
plastic sleeve back over the handle, hook the retaining pins
on the underside of the reflector into the shade (distance
from the silver adhesive strip: approx. 1 cm) and refasten
the press-studs.

Technical specification:

230 /125 volts. Halogen 12 volts, 50 watts, GY 6,35 socket.
Electronic safety transformer, freely dimmable. Telescope
arm 40 – 75 cm.
