Controlling Independent Panning
Having made a send Independent of the main channel pan, you
can adjust its pan position as follows:
1.
Press
SEL
on the input channel you wish to adjust.
The SEL button and Label on the input should be flashing and
the Main Mix updates to show the main channel pan position:
2.
Press and hold the
SEL
button on the input channel and
press
CUE
on the Output channel (e.g.
AUX1
) which you
wish to adjust.
The display updates to show the pan position to the bus send –
e.g. AUX1:
3.
You can now release the input channel
SEL
button and
use its pan control (either on the Fader strip or Selected
Channel) to adjust the pan position to Aux 1.
While the Label of the bus is shown in white on the Main Mix
display (e.g.
AUX1
) you are adjusting the Independent pan
position for this send.
Note that you can
only
adjust Independent panning
if
the Aux
assignment is set to be Independent from the
PAN
display.
4.
When you have finished, press
SEL
on a different input
channel.
As soon as you select a different channel, the Independent pan
mode is cancelled. If you reselect your channel, the white
AUX1
text has disappeared from the Main Mix display indicating that
pan will now adjust the main channel pan position.
You can set separate pan positions to multiple bus sends as
long as each one is configured to be
INDEPENDENT
from the
PAN
display.
