Mute Midi Message
This function allows you to send a
MIDI Control Change
message from a
MUTE
button to the
MIDI Out
at the rear of the
console. Similarly, the
MUTE
button can respond to the same
Control Change
number received at the
MIDI In
.
MIDI Control Change numbers are assigned from the
MUTE
MIDI MESSAGE
display:
1.
Using the trackball, select “
GRID -> Mute Midi
Message
”.
This display operates just like any other patch grid:
On the left are listed the MIDI Control Change numbers. Along
the bottom are the console faders.
You can configure
MUTE
buttons on Fader strips and Smart
Panel controllers (
DESK
or
S.PANEL
).
2.
Press the [
SPACE BAR
], or right-click, to make an
assignment on the grid.
3.
At the top of the display select the MIDI
Send
channel
and
Receive channel
which will transmit and receive the
MIDI information.
You can select MIDI channels 1 to 16.
4.
When you have completed all the assignments, tick the
Enable
checkboxes and exit the display.
