7 Operating
Start PTO shaft always at low rotations and free rotating of
the rotor shaft. Slowly increase the rotations on working
rpm.
Before operating always check that there is no hard objects
like stone, rocks, wood, specially on abandoned areas.
At too low rotations (under 540 or 1000 rpm) the blades can
hit with the back on the rotor and injure or debalance it.
In the case of damaged rotor shaft some vibrations and
consequently cracks on the frame can appear. Stop
immediately with operating. Switch off PTO shaft, check
rotor shaft and components and change damaged or
broken, missingg parts. If vibrations are still on the rotor
shaft, it must be balanced before operating.
Before starting flail mower always check that rpm on PTO
shaft recommend to those on the connecting axle on the
flail mower. Flail mower is set on 540 rpm as standard.
On request it can be set on 1000 rpm.
Flail mower is set up on 540 rpm as standard. On request it can be
fitted on 1000 rpm. Before operating it is necessary to fit rpm with
tractor rpm. This is very important in the case that rpm on the rear
and on the back of the tractor are not the same.
